Waste water

A permit is required for the discharge of wastewater into the public sewer (indirect discharge) or into a body of water (direct discharge), depending on the point of origin.

This applies, for example, to production-specific wastewater, wastewater from water treat-ment or steam generation, cooling water or rainwater from washing areas or waste storage areas.
